I am an early Adventure Sports pioneer. With the introduction of the mountain bike in the mid-1980’s, I began to modify them for transcontinental travel. My first venture was up the Alaska-Canadian Highway, which was at the time, one of the most rugged roads in the world. That trip opened up a new era in Adventure Sports Travel. Now that I am older, I traded in my push bike for a motorized one and am amazed how this has extended my reach into the unknown.
